I want to get a tan for my prom and i was wondering whether it would be better to get a spray tan or sun beds?
Also do you recommend going in a cubicle to get a spray tan or have someone else do it?

No No No to sunbeds, yes yes to fake tan - i have tried them all, booths are OK (Tanning Shop - they have UK branches) their automatic tans are Ok but can be a bit streaky at times especially the legs and sides. Best advice would be to have a hand sprayed or 'rubbed in' St Tropez. Good luck and hope you have a great night. xx

The most natural tans are the sunbed ones but obviously there are lots of health risks involved, and the fake tans come a close second these days.

I have had a spray tan in a cubicle (with someone spraying it) and a couple of rub on ones done by someone else and I would definitly recommend the latter.

While the spray tan patched on me, the rub in one was nice and even!

I have had the St Tropez spray tan and rub on, and while both were good, the spray on one can be a bit patchy in places. Also you can't shower for between 8-12 hours afterwards - just something to bear in mind.
