20s-style hair

I'm going to a fancy-dress party on Friday; I've got a 1920s style dress but I need to do something with my hair (which doesn't involve cutting it) to match the costume.
I have shoulder-length, very straight, dark brown hair.
Any ideas? Thanks!

hair was very short in the 20s so your best bet is to pin it all up and wear a hat!

Alternatively, turn it out at the bottom and 'manufacture' some sort of hair band, one that you would wear over your head from brow to back (kinda like a sweat band' and stick a large feather in it charlstonesque (sp).

definately try the pin curls with the hair band as well.
