What is the correct way to mix hair colouring with peroxide?

Hi, it is wella's koleston perfect range, i know which percentage to use its the amount in mls of peroxide i need to mix wit half a tube?

I use that, it is a 50/50 mix - and I mix it by eye until I get the right consistency, never had a problem with it, and the hairdressers use the same method, have you ever seen them measuring it!
