Is there such a thing as a battery hairdryer, or one that is powered by gas canister like tongs can be?

Or any kind really without a plug and cord?

I'm not sure. But if you are going somewhere without electricity, do you really think you should be bothered about blow-drying your hair? lol
Why don't you ask your hairdresser, or have a look on Argos, or Ebay...

I have a hairdryer that runs off the cigarette lighter in the car,its not all that powerful but its fine for when we go camping, I bought it in a camping shop so you could try one local to you.
