Thermage non-invasive facial lift
2 Answers
I am about to undergo a course of Thermage - but I am absolutely terrified as it has been explained to me that 'eye'shields' (they look like a black contact lens) are to be placed into the eyes to protect them during this treatment. Apparently drops are first put into the eyes to numb them and a little suction thingy is applied to the shield which removes them - and I have been assured that there is 'nothing to worry about, it is a safe and very simple/painfree procedure'...
However, as I have never used a contact lens in my life the thought of something being inserted into my eyes makes me more than a little squeamish to say the least!
Am I being silly for my fears? Is it really as safe and simple as I have been told?
Any insight would be so helpful.
Thank you.
