It doesn't build up or give volume and the brush is so big and combersome it seems to get everywhere. I wouldn't recommend any Benefit mascara (although I do like their other make up). I've used Lancome Hypnose which is great (feel like lashes are tapping my forehead!!) but if Fatale is the one with the brush then again I wouldn't bother as that isn't very good. However, if it's not then I'd try that one if you like the look as I know loads of peeps who use Lancome Mascara's and really like them too.
A corker of a mascara is YSL Volume Effect Mascara (False Lash Effect). I love the stuff. It's about 18.50 in boots but you can get it on a website called La Preya for 12.50. I've used this website to purchase it and found it fine.

Either that or Lancome Hypnose would be my faves!

I have tried every mascara under the sun and like nuoyg, I wouldnt recommend Bad Gal at all, in my opinion it is overpriced for what it is!
The best (slightly cheaper) ones that I have found are the loreal ones, I have been using them for about 15 years and have yet to find a brand that I like any better.
At the minute I am using the double ended one in Carbon Black:

which you can layer up for a more dramatic look for night time. Highly recommended

Hey Beanmistriss
Those girls certainly know their mascara's! I thought I was bad!!
Well, like the others I have tried most mascara's on the market and I just thought I'd mention my 'find' as nuoyg and chazza hadn't mentioned it.
It's 'Diorshow' by Dior, it's about 18 but it seems to stay fresh for ages and gives lovely long lashes and doesn't smudge.
I now don't even attempt to try anything else as it never let's me down.
Just thought I'd pass it on to you incase you was still deciding which one to go for... Good luck!
