green eyes brown hair

Hi i just wanted any advice on what eyeshadow to use,i have green/hazel eyes and am a brunette but dont know what suits my skin tone,eye colour etc Have heard that purple or gold looks nice,but havent got clue. Plz help ladies or gents Thanks

I have the same colouring as you and i use the following colours:
- Greens (I like benefit lemonaid with benefit "gone fishing" over the top, followed by some of their "show offs" in the creamy/gold colour)
- Purples, as you said yourself
- Silvers and greys, not too dark

I discovered the silvers and greys myself, but when i went to the boots counter they suggested purples and greens, as browns make my eyes look sunken!

Try going to a make up counter in boots or debenhams and asking them to demonstrate a couple of different looks for you!
