can i wash dry and use tongs and straitners on a synthetic hair piece

They can be washed with shampoo, and left to drip dry over-night. You can even style them wit ha little hair spray, although overdoing this will make the hair look dull and unnatural.
Be careful with anythin heated as they may melt or scorch the fiber

Years ago when I had monofibre hair extensions put in I found it easy to wash and dry. I doubt you'd have much success with sraighteners though, as the fibres'd melt in the heat.
