Can anyone recommend a good body moisturiser that doesn't leave skin feeling 'sticky' for the rest of the day? I've tried several, including Dove, but none of them seem to absorb into the skin.

I quite like Nivea or Vaseline moisturisers. Vaseline do one in a yellow packaging for dry skin which mells lovely!

For a treat Benefit Bathina's body moisturiser (think it could be called 'touch me and try to leave') is gorgeous.
should have been smells lovely!

That was quick! Thanks Beads. I've never heard of Benefits Bathina, but it sounds good. I'll give it a try. Can you buy it anywhere, or only from specialist suppliers?
Have you tried the Body Shop Body butters? They are kind of more solid than sticky and leave you with a non sticky feel

They smell gorgeous too!
What about baby lotion? Good enough for babies bums good enough for errr yours.
p.s. you're welcome! :)
Garnier Body Tonic (comes in a yellow bottle) smells gorgeous and is not greasy at all. Also, Boots own intensive moisturising cream is good - the smell is not overpowering and it is quite thick buts rubs in easily.

I also like Shears's Cocoa Butter too.

Thanks very much everyone.
I agree with onother post, baby lotion is great as it is very subtle and is water based so it absorbes better. stay away form oil based moisturisers.
Aqueous cream is lovely and it only cost about 2.30 for a big tub. E45 lotion is also very good. My favourite is Nivea Rich for very dry skin. It's in a white bottle.
Hi! Ill tell you a lovely one by Superdrug. Its Superdrugs own make and its called vitamin e all over body cream. Its non-greasy and melts in like a dream! Has lots of natural antioxidants as well. Its only a couple of quid so a bargain too!!

I like the Sanctuary body lotion. It is not greasy at all and has a lovely smell. After you have a shower, you are meant to use it before you dry yourself. I find it a time saver too. Perfect for the days you wake up late!
Hi Naomi, have you tried Avons' Skin so soft Dry Oil spray? It is really nice and keeps your skin really soft. I also like their Afrifcan Shea butter body cream, it is very rich and best to put on at night and it smells delicious.

haysi06, someone bought me Avon Skin So Soft once, and you're right. It's really nice. I'd forgotten about that.

Thanks so much everyone for all your good advice.
Lush Dream Cream is fab! Costs about 8 for a pot, but a little goes a long way! And its really good if you have sensitive skin!
