I discovered it one year going on holidays with my bf one year and used to put it on before going out at night. The next morning, after a night of eating and drinking and whatever else, it was still on! I had to remove it with baby oil the next day!
It is too layers, one is the colour layer which is quite drying, so you put a good layer of the "vaseline" layer on over the top, you may need to keep applying it but it does not affect the colour so it doesn't matter!

I do find the long lasting lipsticks drying, so what I do is put on lipstick, blot it onto a tissues, repeat then put a final layer of lipstick on. It does make it last longer (you don't blot all the lipstick off!). Another tip is to lick a glass before you take a drink, this helps to stop the lipstick coming off onto the glass.
