What's the best fake tans that's out in the shops at the mo?

Thanks for your reply 4getmenot - Can you use it for your face too? How long does the tan last for or do you have to keep reapplying?

well seen as its a moisturiser I use it everytime I get out of bath and light to meduim has a nice natural outcome. There is a seperate dove face one, but to me I just think its exactly the same they just want to make more money.

I find St Tropez everyday to be the best one. It isn't completely smudgeproof, but as it is a body lotion with a bit of self tan, it is lighter in colour (ie suitable for pale skin) and because you build the colour up everyday, mistakes aren't as noticeable.

It is a bit more expensive, but is a much more natural colour than other cheaper brands, and also doesn't have that strong fake tan smell that some of them have

I used a Garnier spray one - it dries really quickly and builds up gradually. Just stop using it for a couple of days when you get to the colour you are happy with ... Smells nice too!

I like the Garnier Nutrisummer one, I found Dove and Nivea go orange around the ankles and knees, and my palms went orange too despite washing them afterwards - my friend had this problem too.

my dove has never giving me a funny colour, smells ok too. I do use the neutrogina face one though

I'm usually hopeless at applying these things but I'm trying out the Neutrogena nourishing body glow moisuriser at the moment which builds a tan gradually. So far (day4) it's looking ok! It's half price in Boots at the moment - one of the reasons I bought it, the other one being it wouldn't have mattered if I'd turned orange while it's still cold & I'm well covered. :o)

I think it's always best to buy a different one that's designed for facial use.

Asda Sunsystem - under �3 and as good as St Tropez for not streaking but not quite as dark. Can't believe everyone hasn't cottoned on to this fab little beauty find!

hi i use fake bake put loads on go to bed ,wake up, wash it off, and hey presto u r brown i also use sally henson airbrush legs it is brill just spray it all over ur legs rub it in slightly and it covers any blemishes and looks great x x x
