Glossy hair

I was just wondering, how can you get really glossy hair? What products should you use when straightening your hair to make it glossy?

I'm just watching This Morning, and one of the bridesmaids had beautiful glossy hair.

Rusk sheer-shine gives an excellent shine and has a silicone protection (to be sprayed on each section before applying straighteners).

I tend to use John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette shine Shock, leave on perfecting glosser. I have mixed race hair and apply it before straightening and on my hair it works well.
