I have been getting my lip waxed and recently noticed that the skin has been discolored. I guess it's what you call hyperpigmentation (I guess). What should I do to get rid of the "Dark Mark"?

do not have the area waxed again. My daughter is a beautician and she learned during her training that waxing on the top lip will cause this discolouration so she refuses to give this treatment. in future use a hair removing cream. To help with the hyper-pigmentation, use a cleanser with glycolic and if possible get a lightening cream. Jan Marini and MD formulations are good brands. Or you could just try to disguise it with make up until it fades.
there are bleaches available for the hair on the top lip that many people use. If you use this the next few times it may also bleach the stain out of your skin..
i have never waxed my lips but a great thing is faceal blech
