My hair needs help!
My hair colour is mousey and I have a natural wave to it. I've been highlighting my hair blonde for almost a year now plus using straightners. My hair is in terrible condition - dry, split and when I brush it quite a lot comes out. I'm going to the hair dressers next week to go back to a light brown. Does anyone know of any really good products I can use though to get my hair in a better condition?

Dont brush but comb hair from ends to root to avoid pulling out the hair. Use an afro or wide tooth comb

The best products really are just avoiding using straightners and any heat appliance for that matter. My hair is very bad condition and it is true that once its damaged nothing will repair it, somethings may make it look better to the eye but really you need to stop using heated appliances, have a good trim and use intensive conditioners.
olive oil is very good at moisturising those dry ends so leave on for 30-60mins b4 washing (longer the better).
Also i found using a hair net at night is good as it reduces the strain on your hair as you tumble around and minimizes breakage during sleep.
I also use redken real control shampoo and conditioner which is expensive but the only one its kind to actually make any difference i do think a good conditioner is a must.
finally the fact you are going back to brunette will make your hair feel SOO much better condition and will look so much better too.
