get rid of my black hair

i have natural dark brown hair which i have been dying black for about 6 months. I am really bored of the black now and want my hair a lighter brown how do i strip the black out without doing alot of dammage?

Although washing up liquid is a fab colour stripper! If you don't have time for the hairdressers I'd recommend that....

Your hair is already processed by coloring it black so coloring it another color wont make any difference to your hair. I recommend professional coloring. Just choose the color you want from the chart. Have a strand & skin test.
