Hiya. I was straightening my hair quite a lot and it has gone really brittle. I have stopped straightening it all together but if i pull it through my fingers I get all the little ends left on my finger where the ends have snapped. Anyone any ideas on how I can help it stop breaking quite so much? Thanks :)

literally just dont straighten and use a comb when uve washed it, plenty of good conditioner in the ends and try a deep conditioning treatment. also is your hair dyed and blonde, if so this will play a big part also. i used to use a lighter colour in my medium blonde hair and it was in awful condition, then i said stuff it and went choc brown with semi permanents and have never looked back, supersoft glossy hair and a good trim every 6-8wks

Thanks. I've been clarting it in conditioner and tried a few diffirent ones and hot oil and olive oil. My hairs not dyed at all. The strands of hair are quite fine, there's just loads of it!
well definately stay away from the hot irons for a while then!! not that i can talk as mine are used to death. tho luckily my hair has some versitility that i can wear it straight or not dry it and its curly. maybe your hairdresser could advise
When was the last time you had it trimmed? this might help as it can add strength to the ends and keep up with the conditioner, esspecially on the ends!
L'oreal make a silicone spray to protect splitting hair. Give the straighteners a rest. Have the split ends cut off.
