Years ago I used to be able to get a little pot of nail polish remover which was basically a little tub that had a sponge inside soaked in nail polish remover. Can anyone remember what it was called and if it is still available? Many thanks.
I dont remember a tub with a sponge, but dont buy any of the cheapo pre-soaked ones cos you end up using a lot more of them rather than buying a bottle of remover.
I was after this type because I like to wear dark nail polish and sometimes it chips easily and instead of removing the whole lot it would be easier to just dip that particular nail and re do it. I have tried the pads but I end up ruining the other nails that don't need re doing.
I can remember it but not its name. It had a slit cut in the sponge to stick your finger/nail in and then you just twisted your finger around - I haven't thought of that for a long time - bet its years ago...
Could you make your own?
Small jar (I suppose you would have to be careful of what it was made of) and sponge cut to fit tighly inside and pour in nail varnisher remover - hey presto...
LindyLouLou - That was exactly it, it was a white plastic tub with a pink lid and a pink sponge inside soaked in nail polish. I must have had one about 10 or more years ago!
I guess I could make my own, not sure how though!
Weeal - thats a good idea, thank you.
