Making eyes like bigger
12 Answers
Does anyone have any advice about what kind of make up to wear/how to wear it, to make your eyes look wider? I already wear cheapish mascara but it doesn't make much difference!

- Sweeping a light colour over the eyelid
- Using a darker colour on the eye socket
- Using a highlighter on the browline
Don't put too much mascara on so that your eyelashes look choked. I find it helps (particularly when I'm nearing the end of a tube of mascara) to drop it into a bowl of warm water for a few minutes before using.

i know why white eyeliner is supposed to work, but whether it does or not... anyway, you put it on the inside of your eye so it matches the eyeball (kind of) and make your eye look wider.
or you could use eyelash curlers. you can get heated ones now to make it last longer, but if theyre too expensive just get normal ones and heat them with a hairdryer.
what you shouldnt do though, is put black eyeliner on the inside of your eye because that seriously makes our eyes look smaller. basically the opposite of the white eyeliner trick.
