A question for hairdressers
2 Answers
Every now and again, I'll visit a hairdresser for a trim (I have long hair which I straighten or tie up -dependant on my mood). Even less regularly, maybe once every 18 months, I visit a hairdresser to have bleach slashed through. On all other occasions, I buy hair colourant and apply myself. Due to the previous bleaching, the colourant comes out different shades and I love it. In fact, I'm often complimented on my hair colour . So, my question is, why do hairdressers have to roll their eyes and tut when they realise a client has been doing something to their own hair? I'm sick of it - it's like going to the blinking dentist and being told off for eating too many sweets. If I ruin my hair, that's my tough luck - and it'll grow back, so it's hardly the end of the world is it? I know how I want my hair so much more than any hairdresser does, so please just do what you're paid for and forget the comments - you're not going to get more business from that customer, you'll simply drive them away!

So i'll regularly get " gosh, you;ve not had your hair done for ages have you, it looks awful!", or "what have you done, thats terrible"!
The saving grace is that i get cheap hairdo's and she doesnt mean anything nasty by it, it just comes out like that!
Lucky me eh!
