tamirra,
have you tried e45 cream / lotion?
I hate hand creams that just "sit" on your skin Johnson's 24 hours hand cream sinks right into your skin not at all sticky £1.95 from Tescos Boots Superdrug etc.

Thanks brucie will have a look at that too, certainly need something.
I agree with Sachs,i've tried all kinds and this is really good.
As we get older our skin gets thinner on the back of ur hands, that is why the veins start protruding. I don't think anything can get rid of that = perhaps plastic surgery ?
tamirra,
to be very honest no cream will take wrinkles in the skin away but moisturising can help even things out a little. I use e45 on my face and neck, I neglected my hands, not something I thought about really. I buy a large tub of e45 and put a small blob in my hands and wet the other one and rub together which basically gives you the feel of the e45 lotion for probabley less price! The large tub lasts ages! Or! another cream you can try is 'Aqueous cream' You can buy it in the same size tub as the e45 for a lot less money. I tend to use the e45 on my face and neck area and the cheaper aqueous cream on my arms/ legs and hands. The aqueous cream leaves a different feel on your skin, doesn't sink in as readily as e45 but is a very good moisturising barrier! x
I've got a large tub of acqueous cream, it lasts forever. It is brilliant for itchy skin and blotches as well.
Bodyshop Hemp Hand Protector is good.

Apparently putting on cream at night and sleeping in cotton gloves helps, but I have never done that so cant say if it helps.
I completely ruined the skin on my hands in my teenage years working in a pub and doing the washing up without gloves. Nothing will save them now but I find when I use a facial exfoliator such as Clinique, if I use it on the backs of my hands there`s an improvement. Followed by Neutrogena Swiss Formula and a sunblock
Sorry meant Norwegian Formula!
Mr mac gets terrible dry skin on his hands and swears by eucerin.
For me its aqueous creme....the Body Shop Hemp....and Aveeno Intense Relief hand creme. The aqueous is excellent as it contains parrafin-which is a barrier, and keeps moisture in.
that's what I do once every few weeks grasscarp......I use Avon foot and hand cream and their little cotton gloves and socks to sleep in.....lather it all on and leave overnight.....(luckily I do sleep alone)
Palmers cocoa butter products are sure to help and leaves you skin with a lovely scent

another suggestion - I use face and body scrub but only recently realised I dont actually take time to scrub the back of my hands. I cant say they look younger but are definitely softer so that helps. I cant recommend a particular hand cream as I do chop and change but do recommend you keep a tube by the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and at work - ensuring you slap it on regularly. Also as previously mentioned if you do have to wash dishes - use gloves!
