Nail varnish remover for dark colours

Hi, I love dark nail coloura but spend ages trying to remove it...and always end up with the residue of the varnish half way up my fingers no matter how careful I am. Can anyone recommend a nail varnish remover which is good for removing the dark colours quickly and efficiently?

What nail varnish are you using?

Have you tried soaking your nails in some nail varnish remover to loosen it before trying to take it off with wipes?

Not a good idea if you have any cuts on your fingers though!

i use a rally cheap onefrom quality save/home & bargain or b&m (dont know if you have these shops where you live).put varnish remover on a pad and hold against your nail for a minute or two,wiggle it a bit then wipe away off your nail,

I use cutex with the purple lid seems to do the trick and I wear dark coloured nail varnish quite often.
