sorry should have give you more - I am merely asking do you think there are truly beautifuly 60 years old ladies out there or does nearly everybody look their age. When I look into my friends faces and see their faces liked cracked ups with wrinkles and I say do I look that etc it scares me. I have not reached that age but will be soon catching up forgive me my typing this morning as it 6.20 am and canna sleep. good night whoops morning

You can look your age and still be "beautiful", and often beautiful as well. There are lots of examples.

Agree with Ann. Beauty is not about unlined faces. Anyway I am over 60 and I don't have a cracked up face with wrinkles. Fortunately, they don't run in our family so good genes. Smoking is the worse thing for getting wrinkles.

I have seen plenty of 40/50 year oldd with far more cracked up faces than I have. I just have 'expression' lines!! ;o)

Nothing is less beautiful than a 60 year old that has undergone cosmetic surgery.

Very true Lottie - Raquel Welch, Melanie Griffith, Joan Rivers... loads of over-60's, have spoilt their looks by obvious surgery. If they'd left well alone, they might have looked 'weathered' - but attractively weathered. laughter lines are attractive I think , and there's nothing worse than an ageing woman looking as though she's been caught out in a wind tunnel.

I agree Salla Catherine Daneuve is lovely, there are a lot of attractive 60 + ladies out there who could not would not have botox etc., and look great, as long as you look after your appearance in general I think personality can make up for it.

I'm going to stop having the Cuprinol injections to even out my skin tone. I have heard that some people think I have reached these shores underneath a lorry. However my looks can only be described as 'lived in' ( a whole fluffing Romanian family by the looks of it).

I am over 60 - just, & I can honestly say that I haven't got these wrinkly lines I'm supposed to have! The people who know me on here will vouch for that! My Mum had beautiful skin & good genes, which she passed on to my sisters & my brothers.

Yes, Lulu has always looked good for her age, but has now gone way over the top with whatever she's had done to her face - her mouth especially!

Twiggy on the other hand, still looks very natural - I'm not talking about the M&S shots,
'cos they're obviously well airbrushed. I mean the ones of her out shopping where the cameras zoom in without her realising. She has quite a lot of lines now & is a bit jowly, but is still very pretty.

Anyway beauty is only skin deep!

Half these answers weren't here when I posted - anyway, my husband adores Twiggy, not just for her looks, but her for her great personality - she tell it how it is.

I prefer people like her, down to earth & the fame hasn't gone to her head, unlike some!

My Mum was still attracting the blokes well into her 70's and younger ones at that. She was widowed at 61 and was always in demand. A very attractive lady with a lovely figure. All natural. Shame I took after my Dad, bless him!!
