Our hairdressers use products that you have to buy in house or online
Not so much nowadays, but I used to see it in there. Dont think alot of them in now as they wouldnt sell them at a profit.
My stylist at Toni & Guy says Tresomme is rubbish.

Goodnight had a long week at work, cant be bothered with your crap
toni and guy say that so you buy their bottles for a tenner lol
I think poodi meant to say "I posted a valid thread...."
Actually, I think I pay something like £15 for their shampoo, but you need to use so little, it lasts ages. In fact, over a period of time, I spent far more on the well known brands which are not nearly as good, so it was false economy really.
My salon pushes products that are silly money, they recently tried to sell me a leave in conditoner that was over £20 saying that I did use tresemme for a while but my hair lost condition quite quickly.... I have started buying different things from Sally's (mainly sell to professionals) but to be honest I feel pantene is as good as most things I've tried.....
Tresemme is rubbish!

I have seen it in salons a while ago but as I no longer go to the hairdresser I have no idea what they currently use. I absolutely adore the hair products made by GHD, they are pricey but do exactly what they say on the bottle... they last ages too.
I think I'd be a bit gutted if I went to the hairdressers and they used Tresemme. You want to have your hair washed with something you wouldn't use yourself (i.e expensive products).
I normally use pantene or herbal essences at home. Would love to use nicer shampoos but I get through it quickly so don't think my husband would be pleased. Had a Nicky Clarke shampoo and conditioner once that definitely made my hair the softest it has ever felt.
