I want to buy my girlfriend some expensive make up but have no idea...
My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and she is always complaining that all her make up is dirt cheap and not very good. So I was thinking of getting her a bunch of really nice posh make up. BUT of course I have absolutely no idea about make up...
So could some one please put me in the right direction of what would be good to get her? I need to know what are the good products and brands please.
She never wears lipstick but wears loads and loads of eye make up.
Thanks in advance!
Ben

It was something like £25 and you got an hours consultation (their make up artists are fantastic!) then you get the £25 to put towards buying products.
That much won't get you too far with MAC but it's brilliant stuff, especially if she wears a lot of eye make up.
I'd be made up if someone got this for me.

mac mac mac....I love the stuff if she likes eye make up get her a colour similar to what she normally wears but a mac one. The mac prep & prime is AMAZING. (she'll use it before applying mascara and it really volumises the eyes) The mac liquid eye liner is amazing too, especially if she applys fake eyelashes. Mac has an amazing fix+ spray that is apparently their staple for mac...i have some and carry it around to refresh my face...smells awesome too!!
As another little tip before she puts all her make up on its good to have a moisturiser for the face, benefit has a tinited moisturiser called yourebel...Its amazing!!!
lucky girl she is :)

i am a makeup artists and although all the expensive brands are great so to are some of the cheaper ones...particularly certain items i have found that i actually think are better than many of the expensive ones
i would suggest you get her a voucher for her fave brand...that way she can make th emost of it, and choose what she wants
the trouble with pallettes and kits is that there is often only a few colours you like and you end up with lots of unused bits.
