it will if you use green hair dye !

lol anne. It's not green, its some shade of brunette. I am at THAT age where I need to cover up the grey!!!!
Hi barmaid home dyeing has come a long way,if you are of ginger persuasion watch yourself, otherwise bash on, excellent conditioners in these products
so are you greyish going to brunette, what was your natural colour ? is it a permanent dye ?

It's a L'Oreal kit (because I'm worth it and because I am too much of a tightwad to spend 70 quid and four hours in a salon!). My natural colour is kind of combination - my hair ranges from blond on the top to dark brunette with a litte titian in it. Unfortunately, it also has a fair amount of grey round the temples now!!!

Am sitting here letting the colour "develop" hoping it doesn't all go tits up! I hope its OK, we have a big night out for the FH on Sat and I don't want to look stupid!
ive tried most makes but find Nice and Easy the best, after having chemo my hair came back very white so i use a blonde rather than try to go brown and have white roots. it looks great now. hope this helps.
Of course you are worth it!
Panic not. You will really like the outcome. Just remember who you are when you look in the mirror.

nice and easy 103 every time, 101 in the summer.

Well I've "developed" for half an hour. Off I go to rinse off, ruin the bath and condition!! I may be some time........

Well it's not green. Could only dry it a little before the hairdryer expired. The grey has gone, but not convinced about the colour. Will see what it looks like properly dry. I suppose it doesn't look outrageous though!
I have used the Nice & Easy twice now! Used to pay £70+ for highlights. This is just as good and it covers all grey... just wish I'd left it on a bit longer the 2nd time! Anyone know when you can do it again? do you have to leave it for a couple months?
Nextqueen - I used 103 the first time and tried 103a the 2nd time - its a lovely colour :)
106 for me
If you have a look at the Nice and Easy website, they have changed the shades and numbers...............not sure which one I use now!...........Think it's now 88 Natural Ultra Ash.............hope it's the same colour, I really like it!.................
main issue barmaid. is it green ? has the grey gone ? if answer no. yes. well it looks lovely.
How often can you re-do it - only left mine on for the minimum time (just in case...) !!
i use when the grey starts to come in again. for me that can be 5 weeks, 4 in the summer.
Well, yelenots, I never colour mine more than every 6 - 8 weeks, I try to leave it 8 weeks if possible, otherwise your hair can become very dry, even though you condition well.......................
Thanks :)

Well it's dry now. It's not green. But it is a very subtle shade of red! Not what I was expecting from the colour on the box but at least they grey has gone! Yay!
BM..it's only if you dye it blonde that it might go green.

I home dye all the time. A good tip...put some moisturisor (sp) on your ears and forehead. Most home kits I've used have been good.
