Decent hair straightners

My mum is after some hair straighteners for xmas and has asked my dad for them but being the typical man has asked me to get them and wrap them and he'll just pay.
So anyway i use GHDs but dont know whether it is worth getting my mum some that pricey as not sure she'll use them enough as she has never had some before so can anyone reccommend any decent ones which are cheaper maybe?

If your dad is quite happy to pay the price why not get her the GHD's........(then if something happens to yours you can borrow your mums)

Haha good idea craft i could do that when i am home otherwise its an 8 hour drive to straighten my hair but yeah he said he's happy to pay for whatever i think is best.

Probably too late now, but I use T3 tourmaline straighteners and they are brilliant. Still very pricey but cheaper than GHDs. My daughter has GHDs and I like mine better.

get on with ceramic plates and a dial to change the tempature suck as, a chi or an ionika.
