Does anyone have any personal information on diabetes please? I am convinced I have it. I have looked at various websites and seem to have every symptom. I have tried to get an appointment with my doctor but they have nothing until monday. I am now really worried.

A blood test will clarify things for you but I would not worry. Thousands of people live normal lives with this condition.
Yes I have all of those. I have been feeling overly thirsty for the past couple of months now. Eyesight is a bit of a joke in my family as I have to squint to watch the telly. I just thought this was because I spend too much time on my computer. I was really dizzy this morning, even though I'd had breakfast. I went all dizzy and shaky and thought I was going to faint. Without saying anything that's likely to scare me, is this a very serious condition? I am 27 if that makes a difference to what type it could be.
diabetes is so controlable with diet..so don't worry....even if it is type 1 not 2 which tends to go with age.....take care of what you eat...try and keep sugars down..but not out or you can go the other way.....i always carry a wee bite size mars bar and if feel bit woozy it does the trick....honest this is so common now...
A&E? See, now I can feel myself getting breathy. I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks so hearing that was not good.
Thank-you all for your advice. I think I will wait until Monday to see my own doctor as I'm likely to get myself worked up if I go to A&E.
I will also have a look on Google.
Thank-you once again.

If it is Type 2, then medication, if required, is in tablet form so no big deal. The level of your blood sugar count is the deciding factor, the lower the better. You will just have to wait for the test. If you haven't already been told to do so, good idea to take a urine sample along with you when you see the GP.
Also if you are really worried, keep off the biscuits, cake, and sugar in any form, that should help. Also, to me it sounds as though your blood pressure is a bit low. You can get that tested at the pharmacy too. You can of course wait until Monday, as Sqad says and as he is the boss when it comes to illnesses you can rely on him.
