Has anyone had a gland on the outside base of their neck secrete a liquid?

I have had this before but now the liquid is smelly.

Scanty details but it sounds very much like a sebaceous cyst, a non malignant condition.....the discharge tends to be"cheesy" rather than liquid, but it does indeed smell.

A relative had one of these cysts for years which became more troublesome; it was removed in a minor op. (not hospital) by the GP and healed perfectly- now invisible.
