I have had some blood test back today & I have a high level of iron (which I already knew). My doctor has OK'd me to drink alcohol within the recommended guidelines & I only drink wine but which is better for me - white or red? Apparently one is an inhibitor of iron & the other does the opposite.....help!
Has your doctor suggested you should donate blood ? Some people have far too much iron for their own good, and they can unload some of it by donating blood.
