TY, Francis. That's brightened my day.
I was wondering how she'd remove it without anything to grip with her pliers.
No problem.....elevators first........and then the "plyer thingies."

No, it's not painful. It was filled and I think then the nerve was removed.
Sorry. Didn't mean to upset you. I'll shut up now :)

....then thankfully I woke up! Thank you, thank you!

Sorry it's happened to you for real, hope you get it sorted painlessly.

I wish I hadn't asked this question. What was the name of the film with Dustin Hoffmann?

How much of the root is left ?? If there's enough root left and it's not split, your dentist should be able to crown it.
The procedure would be the same as this I would imagine

...."Is it safe?"
Happened to me in May, and they took days getting the root out as it broke in to many pieces, and was infected, am still waiting for my false one to be fitted. The dentist said she thought it would be a normal extraction and was worried and surprised that it has turned out of bad!

Good luck with yours!
Marathon Man was the film.
Happened to me but they were able to fit a beautiful new tooth to the stump. And I'm on NHS.
Hoover?
