OK, I'm type 2 diabetic on insulin twice a day. My medications are as follows:
1 x Propranolol 40 mg twice a day
1 x Simvastatin 25mg once a day
2 x Amiltriptyline 25mg at night
1 x Ramipril 10mg once a day
1 x Indapamide 2.5mg once a day
2 x Humulin M3 injections one in morning and evening
Also tramadol 50mg, up to 6 x day due to back trouble.
The diabetic management is getting better, I see a diabetic nurse/advisor at local hospital and she has told me to take 24ml insulin in the a.m and 22ml at night, and my blood sugars have come down quite a bit, they have been between 10 - 13 for the last few days. I have had my blood pressure done at the doctors the last couple of times, and the readings have been 108/76 and yesterday 95/70 ( if I remember correctly). I've been feeling really tired the last week or so, and falling asleep in the afternoons/early evening, which is why I wondered if low blood pressure has anything to do with tiredness. I'm seeing both the diabetic nurse and renal clinic next week so can ask them, but I wondered about this, hence my posting. Thanks for any help.
