11 Answers
Sqad , my friend has has a pain in her lower back right hand side for a few days now, went to docs this morning and he said that there is increased white blood cells in urine but has ruled out a kidney infection. Feels well in herself, any ideas of what this may indicate. Thanks Jasmin.

Now if she has no pain, feels well, we can rule out cystitis and kidney infection.
BUT the white cells must have come from somewhere..............
She needs further investigation of her kidneys to exclude stones, which may be lying silent in the kidney and would explain the white cells.

Hi Sqad - I'm the friend Jasmin posted about! I got a call from the docs saying that no infection was found in the urine test, which is great but I'm still a bit worried. How did the white blood cells get there and why are they there if there is nothing wrong? I hate to be a drama queen but is it possible to tell from a urine test if you have anything really wrong...like Cancer etc? Thanks a lot.
