4x a week to see results then i will cut down. I have a really active job.. Yet ive put weight on! I dont eat as bad as i used to. Always have a breakky! But in 4wks ive put on 4-6lbs rougly surley thats not in muscle? Im the heaviest ive ever weighed!

Im a size 10... Im comfy with that, i try not to let weight bother me and go by how i look/ feel in clothes. I have a wee pot belly im
Working on but this weight gain has annoyed me what am
I doing wrong? Too much weights and not enough cardio??? X

Possibly muscle or your diets not in check, how much protein/carbs/fats are you having with each meal and whats your diet for a day and whats your workouts like and duration?
ssshh a size 10 will get you lynched on Answerbank :D

You have a very demanding job, both mentally and physically, keep doing what you're doing and when you are not feeling comfy with your weight etc, then revise the situation

My diet could be better granted, typical day at work id have toast and cereal for brekky, a sandwich or wrap at lunch bit of fruit and bag of crisps (only ever eat 100kcal ones though) and last breaky maby another wrap or sandwich then i go to gym. I do 30min treadmill usually and about 7 different weight machines.... When i get in i have a snack then bed.... Then i do it all again lol x

All sounds fine (I'm not a nutritionist tho) apart from food after work. A dinner is required also I'd suggest no crisps at lunchtime, once every so often.
Somethings not adding up, your diet looks meagre but yet your gaining weight? Are you sure your not pregnant?

If you're implying sexual relations by your sid jamesesque laugh allbags then you're wrong, you lose hardly any weight by this and don't listen to the rubbish you read about burning so and so cals per hour. Do you watch chatshows such as jk, maury, jerry springer etc? Many of the women on these programs have several kids from several fathers as well as sleeping with half their village/town/city and many are far from fit/thin.

Tinkerbell then you must be forgetting parts of your diet or miscalculating, do me a favour and write your diet and gym sessions down for me this week and I'll give you an answer to what's going wrong and can help you reach your goals.
I want to know about every cake, pie, choc, crisp and fizzy drinks etc however small the portion.

Ok wrong! Thanks!! I drink mostly milk and water but if ido have fizzy its always always diet!!! And i do eat chocolate but again i try to hav milky ways ir something and its not daily xxx
Something is bumping your calories to above mintainance and I want to know what, Jsut how many burgers and alcoholic drinks do you eat/drink a week?

I didnt drink last weekend!! I dont eat burgers weekly LOL jusy wenever it takes my fancy (usually hungover) i do have a takeaway at weekends but its a portion for one! Thing is if anything people are sayinh i look slimmer!! If i drink its usually one night... Wine or g&t or some spirit and mix x

i just had a wee peek at your average daily food intake, and it seems theres quite a lot of carbs being had - toast, cereal, sarnies, wraps, crisps.
i dont know, but that may have something to do with it...?
if you can tot up how many carbs youre having in a day, as per the 'total carbohydrate' count on the food wrappers, that will give you a good idea.
and if its high, which im guessing it will be a bit, then along with going careful on other naughty bits you may have, you could try and reduce the carb intake too. ie, have just cereal for brekkie instead of the toast aswell, and maybe have a carb free lunch a few days a week if you can, like making up a nice chicken or tuna salad etc, followed by some fruit.
its these little changes that will all go towards helping drop a few pounds.

Lol okay, If you're proper smashing it in the gym then it's possible that it is indeed muscle even though your proteins low, the best gauge are your eyes and the mirror and not the scale as like you said fat is burnt and is sometimes replaced by muscle. We'll get you there or at least point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Looby i agree im a carb eater! Ive been trying to have less. Will try your suggestion. I hate salad :0( i really really wish i could sit down to a nice salad!!!! Tomorrow im gonna buy a notepad and jot everythin down! I think i have an app on my phone actually x
