it IS a disease..and ought to ne treated as such, with every chance of recovery. Do not cut out the person , do not preach do not try to knock sense into them..ASK WHY THEY ARE SO UNHAPPY.... listen to what they say ...and be there...
Nohorn what a ridiculous, insulting and foolish answer that was, please try to educate yourself about what an addiciton actually is.
As an ex addict with a large family I find it absurd and insulting that you choose to imply that my children are in some way genetically inferior because I had a horrible childhood and turned to substance and alcohol abuse to help me deal with that at a young age. My father used to beat me whether he was drunk or sober, THAT is why I had a problem, nothing to do with genes.
nox..you have my ear...nobody can change the past..the future is in your hand...you have a sympathetic ,understanding..oh..I am so great..lol..one here
That's exactly my point murraymints, hence why I'm an EX addict and have been for many, many years- just took a while and nothing whatsoever to do with genetics imho, just location, observation and experience.
wont patronise you with congratulations etc... good news though...good man.!
