See you are posting and back in your AB surgery - have checked your OP to see how you are now - but couldn't find anything telling me you are all singing and dancing again. Hope this is the case x

Thank you muchly PF - seems things are going along well.
rsvp........thank you for your concern.....no big deal at the moment, but just bored. Friday is the big day when the "boys" intend to discuss my case.....stenting OR vein bypass.
Don,t fancy having my chest opened, but who does? LOL

Wife in Menorca and me in Palma.......could be worse ;-)
Ah, so, all those pretty senorita nurses eh ?
Will be thinking of you Sqad. I know all about stents and bypasses, as you know!!

Are they feeding you well?

xxxx
Not so strange. The actual links have the dot dot dot in them instead of the real address. The dot dot dot should only be on the visual text.
Good luck...whatever they decide to do...hopefully just a re-bore and stent
sqad, why are they waiting until friday to make decision ?
probably waiting for him to give a second opinion....
Probably because they need a team meeting to discuss Anne and there is no urgency. If it was urgent a stent would have been in by now.

And maybe they enjoy having Sqad in there and want to keep him!!! ;o)
Hadn't seen you were under the care of physicians Sqad!
The stent/bypass decision can be a finely balanced one.
Whatever is decided- very best of luck.
Anne.....things go very slowly in Spain and there is no such thing here as a thoracic surgeon etc, but a "Cardiac Team"made surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists who meet once a week for conference of all the cases.
No big deal, will just sit back and see what they decide.
High tech department...modern...ultra clean and nursing varies between, poor, acceptableband superb........as does the food.

Sharing a room with aSpaniard who is the spitting image ofnFletch from Porridge.
Slaney....yes it is.......thanks for the post.
I hope it is a stent as I don't fancy having my chest "cracked open"
Same in the UK Sqad. The Cardiac Unit and team were brillant and they didn't have an operating theatre - they called it the Lab. A bit factory line really, but really impressive. Two nurses allocated to each patient and Mr LL had his own room, which was more like a hotel suite.
Lofty...you very rarely see nurses....they are all packed away in large offices looking at screens and monitors, all with stethoscopes around their necks............the nurses, not the monitors.
^^^ ditto the NHS
When I went for angio to cath lab it was quite a jolly place but I didn't feel jolly as the consent form I signed was angiogram/plasty/cabg so had know idea what I was facing luckily I had perfect coronary arteries that had gone into spasm not a blockage... my worse fear was the bypass because my own colleagues would have looked after me and I didn't fancy getting a bed bath from my mates....
hope you are getting there Sqad....miss you...xxx
