Home Testing for Allergy/Food Intolerance.

Has anybody used any of the kits available and if so were the results good or bad? Do the benefits (if any) justify the costs involved? My dear old mum Bless her thinks that she may be getting all types of things wrong with her because she is allergic/intolerant to something in her diet. She is 83 and has never suffered with any allergies before. I am loathe to point out that she is a little older than she used to be, but this is an avenue that she asked me to explore for her. All info gratefully received. dtc.

Such homecare based kits and services can be expensive, and the claims of some have no scientific basis. Befire your mum goes down this route, you and her may wish to take a look at the following site, which talks about food allergies, food intolerances and the differences between them.
