For about 12 months I have had a round white mark the size of a 2p coin on my abdomen. Yesterday I noticed there was a red line round half of it, today it is fully circled in red, still with the middle white. Any ideas what it could be?

I thought of ringworm and googled it, there seems to be multiple circles with it, mine is only one and has been just plain white for a year, the redness has only occured this week, so a bit confused.
Get it checked anyway Caran

Ok will do.
if it is not scaly or itchy or has spread over a period of 12 months, it is unlikely to be Ringworm.

I cannot think of a suitable alternative, but it does not seem to be a serious situation.
Go to the chemist and guy some Lamisil Cream, use it for a week and let us know how you get on.
Just had another thought over breakfast.........do you suffer from type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism or pernicious anaemia?
