Eye 'bleb'

Don't really know how else to describe it. Have what looks like 'sleep' in one of my eyes which, on closer inspection, seems to be attached to the white of my eye. It is clear and just looks like 'sleep'. It doesn't hurt but is irritating, like having something small in my eye all the time. Does anyone know what it could be and what I could do to get rid of it? Im on holiday in the US at the moment so am thinking of going to a pharmacy for some kind of eye drops maybe?

If it is irritating you then ask about it at a pharmacy. When you finish your holiday see your doctor if it is stll there.

I get that all the time.. I think it's just you're eye's way of getting rid of an irritant. I put it down to my dust allergy. There is maybe something that is annoying your eye?

And I would say that an eye wash would be better than eye drops. Something like this with an eye bath...

Go to a pharmacy in the US. Walgreens are the best. I have had eye problems and have gone to them. You can buy eye drops over the counter in the US that you can`t buy here. Take your passport with you when you go as there are certain drugs that can`t be sold to you without it.

Sounds very much like a Pinguecula....no big deal.

Go to the chemist (pharmacy) and get some steroid cream or steroid drops and they should ease the irritation.

If the pharmacists is reluctant to give you steroids, then any lubricating eye drops will do the trick.
