I've got this terrible pain in my right foot and don't know why.
When there's no weight on it, there's just a dull ache but when I try to put any weight on it the pain is excruciating. It's in the soft pad just under my fourth toe (next to the little one) and is also painful to touch.
It helps a little if I turn my foot outwards when I try to walk.
Any ideas anyone? I'm seriously considering going to A & E but I don't know if they'd be able to help.
Have you bashed your toe or stood on something that has gone into your foot, my nephew suffered a similar problem, when xrayed they found a full length needle inside his foot, maybe worth popping to GP or A&E
Thanks for your replies. Painkillers it is then.
Ratter - no, I haven't hurt it in any way other than shopping all day yesterday ( that only hurt my purse!)
Oh yes! My ex had nerves removed from her toes due to Morton's neuroma "I think" it caused her a lot of pain, mostly during the night if I remember correctly.
Sqad - you're amazing - looks like you've got it spot on again!
I usually wear high heels for work but have been off this week and have been slobbing about in bare feet, then was out all day yesterday in flattish shoes. Obviously my poor feet just couldn't cope!
Problem is I'm due back to work tomorrow. Hopefully a day of rest today will cure it.
No problem buttons and you are quite correct...i am amazing...it is something that i have had to learn to live with and cope with for many years and at times it is quite difficult.
...... Amazing and oh soooo modest too!
Got a Doc's appointment at 10am - hope he can help.
Showering while trying to balance on one foot was not a lot of fun. Hope I can manage to drive ok :-)
