I work in an office and last week I had an accident. I thought I was going to fart but liquid came out at the same time. I ended up in the toilet cubicle for 30 minutes sorting myself out. What causes this thiough? Because I didn't have an upset tummy or anything? Can you just blame it on something I ate or age?

I'd blame it on the accepted occasional by-product of eating kebabs

Had you been eating anything oily in the last couple of days? It's an awful feeling, I remember it happening to me a few years back, but I was still in my nightie :-(
Boxy, this was from Fridays diet, put up by 'vegetarian' honeydrip in another thread

This is Health & Fitness and where medical related problems are posted. Some people have embarassing issues to post, I feel it does not help when posters post in a fashion that could make people feel even more embarassed and selfconscious.

It's an issue I have suffered myself due to a bowel condition, it's not pleasant and is embarassing.

If it's a one off honeydip then it could be down to something you ate. If it continues then you should let your doctor know who can go through your medical history and diet with you to see if you can find the cause and if any further tests or treatment is required.
