For the last few weeks I,ve had a runny nose and its driving me up the wall. My hankerchiefs are soaking after an hour or so, and typing this is causing to run all the time. As I haven't got a cold and I don't feel unwell, does anyone know the cause or have a solution? I don't want to bother the Doctor as it would mean a 2/3 hour wait.I'll fill a bucket at this rate.

Watery runny nose.
Well if it is not due to viral infections, there are many causes and i would advice you to Google..Vasomotor rhinitis.

It could be an allergy problem.....it could be an emotional problem (Google Honeymoon Rhinitis....it could well be an Industrial cause.....or even "idiopathic" (of unknown cause)

What would i do in your situation? Go to the chemist and buy Flixonase Nasal Spray.

thanks Sqad. I went to the Chemist for some Flixonaise but they did not have any and persuaded me to have Loratadine tablets instead. I'll give them a try and if they don't work I'll go back and ask them to order some Flixonaise in.
;-) OK and thanks for your reply.
