Curiosity Question For The Medical Bods
0 Answers
I was switched from citalopram (20mg a day) to mirtazapine some time ago and have been having issues with SSRI withdrawal - for me it's like weird electric shocks/shorting out feeling in my head.
I was initially getting them every couple of days and ending up having to take a citalopram to calm it down (difficult to function, especially at work when your head feels like it's shorting out). I've advised my GP of this.
I then had a horrible tummy bug which set a malabsorption condition off badly though since then I'm only getting the withdrawal symptoms once a week.
More out of curiosity but why does it suddenly have a big jump in when it appears (keep thinking I've got rid of it!).
