Screaming and shouting is maybe not necessary, but I can understand why you want to. And it's always harder worrying about a loved one, especially a daughter, than it is worrying about yourself,
Chin up , be positive xxxx

Ignore Sqad, mallyh; he's an ex-doc, sees things in very scientific terms and doesn't seem to appreciate the emotions running in these things. I would love it if he was my quack if it was a bone condition, break, muscular, protrusions, nerve damage, tendon/ligament damage - however as a reader of depression and mental states, no bloody way.
Sqad is right though in one thing; they have caught it early if it's stage 1 and the prognosis for cure is pretty high; I am not saying that it's 100%, it isn't, but I am sure he could give you the figure - I bet its 90% plus. So that is the good news.
You're only being a mum to break down (when she ain't there) - don't be embarrassed, share with other family members (hopefully?) or on here, but do talk - with us idiots if necessary....this will help you. And if there is no one in your family, then I am sure one of us can step forward and act as an e-buddy - all you need do is say, "yes please" and put up a temporary e-mail address to screen out some of the loons that can be out there.
Hope this helps and we're out there, thinking of you. x

It's really scary when the word cancer is thrown at you.....my dad's been through chemotherapy and radiotherapy for cancer and touch wood seems to have come through it....ab has been a wonderful source of support for me..people are very kind...so come here and rant if it helps...you'll get nothing but positive encouragement.....hopefully your daughter has been caught early enough for a swift course of action and I'm sure her prognosis is good...x
