Gynaecology Question

Hi All

Following an appointment at the above clinic, I have received a copy of the letter sent to my GP.

I understand it except for one small phrase at the end:-

"dysfunction which maybe best served with a hysteroscopy and EB with merina insertion".

I know what a hysteroscopy is and I believe merina is a coil, but what is EB?

Can anyone help please?
