Arthritis?

In January this year I slipped on ice onto a concrete path onto my right knee and it was 8 weeks before the pain completely subsided. My GP diagnosed that I had set off arthritis but I haven't had so much as a twinge since and wonder whether artthritis comes and goes. Would it lie dormant for as long as 4 months and then flare up again?

Well........wait and see..........I doubt whether either form of arthritis would rear it's ugly head 4 months after a traumatic incident.
