Cramps
19 Answers
Sister (70 yrs) was over as usual today for dindins - anyway (never ever complains re health issues) but today said she has had cramps in the back of her legs all week. Now I know we all take cramps but mine anyway as fast as they come they would go away. She has them too long methinks. She doesn't want to annoy the doctor - any suggestions what is happening to her. Yes she smoked and has been off them for two years - she feels it is something to do with her smoking in the past. Any answers would be appreciated Thanks

A tough call Pixie - but I am re-iterating whatever it is - is annoying her cos she never ever ever complains so I am worried if there is something wrong.
Thanks Anne - I am just after driving her home and the last thing I said to her - are you going to the doctors tomorrow - her answer "no, I dont want to bother him". We all suffer from the "white coat syndrome" and also dont want to be bothersome. All of my family are exactly the same. She is a very private person re health issues so have to screw information out of her. "Oh I am fine blah blah" me on the side - I'll tell you no I am not too good. If it gets worse for her she knows herself she will have to contact the doctors. I must admit when she was walking up my driveway from her taxi - she was walking (looking back on it a bit agonisingly).
Please read this as it can be related to dehydration

Thanks to all of you re this posting - and for grasscarp's link - it mentioned mustard a lot along with many other ideas. One came up all the time a tablespoonful of mustard must be consumed - I take it that she has to get it down her one way or another. Will ring her now - she may not have mustard in the house anyway. Going to ring her in a mo and let you know - Conne

Just after receiving a call from her - her words when I suggested your suggestions - hahahahah - "are you right in the mind" - I said you are dehydrated - so need tonic water - "haven't got none" - what about mustard - "her words" haven't got mustard - says I surely you put mustard on your ham - Says she - I do but couldn't swallow a tablespoonful - - well then says I you need to drink more water says I Goodnight - need to see your GP - Bye - that's the end of that romance - as we say. You couldn't help this woman even if you tried. So protective of her health. If she is sick enough - she will have to admit defeat and go to GP. Just a wee update and thanks for your input.
