So after 3 wks not 2wks I have my results on the Knee,
no abnormality found,
but on the 5th July I had an Asperation done at my request,
(as the Nsaids had NO effect)
which has helped a lot -so on the19th July I have a follow up & see if anything shows up on the tests to the fluid taken, now all I need is better movement of the joint.

I only ask because I had one done for a barium swallow and they were ready for me to take along to the doctor as I left radiology. He gave them a look and told me that there were no problems evident.
Mrs 9401 had a suspected break in her ankle and it was xrayed and diagnosis confirmed right away.
Are things different up here in the land of the tartan jockstrap?

They told me 10 days when I had my foot done before Christmas as my GP had ordered it. They couldn't tell me the results but I'm sure if it had clearly shown up something like a fracture they'd have sent me to A&E/Fracture Clinic.
Things seem to be a bit hammered the moment generally. I have found the referral out services to be fantastic, so quick with appointments and scans and brilliant staff. Same when I've had scans (foot & knee MRIs and kidney and gallbladder scans) done by Care UK/Alliance Medical.
Not sure what is going on with our physio unit though, referred back 25 April for my knee abnormalities which apparently got lost to re-referred 4 weeks later and still no letter through to ring and make an appointment. Previously you'd get a letter through within a few days and get an appointment within a few weeks. Maybe there's an injury epidemic going on!
Hope your knee is better soon!
