Thanks Sqad. Strangely enough she just emailed me and said there are quite a few Brits including several children at this centre. They have been given a hire car and nice apartment and first class care.
She had to have an op (through the nose) at Southampton and not enough was removed so she had another one. She was then accepted by the Florida Centre.
It all started with double vision! They are getting a machine at London and one at Manchester. Typical of my friend she has joined in with fundraising for research into chordoma. She said one in 800,000 diagnosed with it. However I believe the proton machines are useful for brain tumours.
