House Maids Knee

Further to my previous post as advised went to doc on mon had urgent referral to hospital and had my knee drained due to size. My knee is red hot and I'm in a lot of discomfort. Is this normal after this procedure? Thank you

Did you have the fluid aspirated and a steroid injection put in? If so, you can get a reaction from the steroid, which is not normal and should be reported to the dr.

No just fluid aspirated no steroid injection?

I would suggest that you return to A&E as it sounds as though it is infected and you will need antibiotics.

The heat has gone but fluid has returned so looking like steroid injection can't believe that a fall ten weeks ago has led to this xx thank you for asking xx
