Yoohoo Sqad ;)

Saw someone different at the hospital who gave me a steroid jab as flaring badly and said anti-inflammatories should be ok while off methotrexate, yay! Asked why when not on mtx and she said they contra-indicate, something about overloading kidneys. So have purchased some of your medicine of choice before anyone changes their mind!

Had blood done again so will see what comes of that! ALT had only gone to 70 last time and needs to be under 40 before I can go back on and apparently there's a 50% chance of it happening again!

Just need to get over what I guess is some kind of tummy bug I've had, knocked me flat over the weekend, started off a bit like when my gallbladder went though more upper mid abdominal pain, very sharp in waves then a blinding headache for 2 days and very upset stomach, slept most of the weekend. Don't want to irritate an already irritated tummy with the ibuprofen.

Maybe........maybe not........the mechanism is obscure and certainly not all patients on methotrexate who take Ibuprofen or any Nsaid gets higher levels of blood concentrations.........the majority...vast majority....don't.
